I am always searching out new people to feature or to introduce to the world there great insights on different and important everyday issues facing men and women today and issues, conceerss and topics to discuss.

Today, I want to introduce Kalico Jones..

Her testimony was such that I thought it desrved to be heard all over, so be blessed by what she had to share with the world in her message:

HIV/AIDS...LETS TALK ABOUT SEX...ORAL, ETC. COME ON.

I cant count how many people I know?who have AIDS/HIV. I cant count. And the reason why I cant count is NOT because the number is so high?its because I cant count the unknown. THERE ARE FOLKS who have never been tested for HIV/AIDS and feel as though they would rather NOT know because they don?t want to worry themselves into death and since they are not coughing or losing weight there is NO need for alarm?they get a cold, they get Theraflu or Buckleys and they keep it moving. MOVING RIGHT INTO THE LAND OF THE UNKNOWN.

Then there is the Baby momma / Baby daddy ?thing? (apply this ?concept? to the long term boyfriend / girlfriend situation too) where you guys break up and then you get back together and you break up and he / she sleeps with other folks. Yall get back together and don?t use protection because they are the mother / father of your child (or yall in the long term boy/girlfriend concept been together for so long) and you know they ?are good.? And no one goes to get tested. Yall just keep it moving. MOVING RIGHT INTO THE LAND OF THE UNKNOWN.

Then there are some of us. The ones who use condoms and so we think that just because most of the time we are using condoms we are free to have sex with multiple partners and let them just put the ?tip? in - yeah, I said it. Im saved but Im a REALIST!!! and then here comes the condom and so yall are good. BUT NO ONE CARED TO REALIZE THEre is a SUCH THING AS PRE-EJACULATION..and you both move on. With each other and your other partners, doing the same thing?No one gets tested. Yall just keep it moving. MOVING RIGHT INTO THE LAND OF THE UNKNOWN.

Or how about Miss ?I think I did? I think I used a condom but was so drunk / high that you cant remember. you're not pregnant, so you must have used one. But you don?t get tested. you act like it never happened and keep it moving. MOVING RIGHT INTO THE LAND OF THE UNKNOWN.

And oral sex is not immune to STDs either. You can catch and STD from oral sex. The same way you can brush your teeth and your gums bleed. Is the same way you can expose yourself to an STD. Wherever that blood came from could be a possible ?entry point? for disease.

He's got a hot body, he CANT be sick.

She's got a big booty, she CAN'T be sick

She's saved.

He's a Pastor. THEY CANT be sick? right?

WRONG!!!!

I just had another AIDS/HIV test because as I told you in my note ?Im a victim? (read that it?s a good one) I had a sexual relationship with an Overseer / Pastor? KABOOM!!!! AND YOU KNOW WHAT? I don?t even think I liked him (looking back)?IT WAS A POTHOLE IN A WALK THAT BELONGS TO ME?and so I can hold my head up. I am human and subject to human fraility. But I did learn a lesson.

THE PRICE OF UNPROTECTED SEX IS TOO HIGH TO PAY. Its too high to pay for. AND WHEN YOU couple that with SEX without marriage?IT GETS COMPLICATED. And the reason for the testing was because since this is someone who travels from state to state preaching and overseeing...and I am someone who has done FAR MORE THAN I WOULD LIKE TO ADMIT?it was NECESSARY for me to move forward.

and for my daughter's well being as well because When you are a parent, it is important that you know what you DON?T have so you can get whatever you need to be okay for your children. When I had gotten the results, the person called my office and said, ?Hi may I speak with Mimi Williamson? I was like ?Speaking? she said, ?Im calling from the doctors office your blood work is in and we need to speak with you, when can you come in?? and I immediately began to hyperventilate?

NOW IF I WAS DOING EVERYTHING I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DOING MY BEHIND WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN AFRAID TO HEAR RESULTS. The person in my office was yelling ?Mimi are you okay, can I get you some water?? and I told the doctors assistant that I would NOT be coming in. I didn?t know when and at this point in the conversation I was shaking?and crying.

FOR THREE MINUTES I WAS HYSTERICAL?

She said, ?IM NOT SUPPOSED TO tell you this over the phone but you are good. You don?t have HIV/AIDS?we need to just address something else, pls. come into the office? and she gave me an appointment.

I SAY ALL THIS TO SAY?Ladies and Men, we have to stay the course. You have to stay focused in your walk and know that GOD will cover you but first you have to COVER = PROTECT yourself. You cannot be out here and not know. if for no one else other than your children?get yourself tested and lets start taking better care of ourselves by NOT having unprotected sex?(if you must) but YOU know I am rolling with Abstinence all day long.

BECAUSE It can be done.

That call (with the doctors office) took place this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND GUESS WHAT? I BET MR. OVERSEER/ PASTOR HAS NOT EVEN THOUGHT TO go to the doctor. He just kept it moving. MOVING RIGHT INTO THE LAND OF THE UNKNOWN. (not knowing what I may / may not have)?

Fortunate for me, I wont be there with him. To God be the Glory. Listen right now lets stop and pray because I need to ask God for covering?hold me down yall, Im going in:

?Father in the name of Jesus we come to you this afternoon to ask that you cover us as we walk in this world of many distractions. We plead for protection over those things that we cannot see, and ask that you run interference on the things that we DO see, but gravitate toward them any way. Give us sound reasoning and judgment so that we can navigate our way to you?In the Name of Jesus we pray?COVER AND PROTECTED by the blood?Amen!?

Ok. That?s my time. I love yall but JESUS loves you more.

Oh what a friend was have in Jesus?what a MIGHTY friend.

Please do not walk into the land of the unknown?I want yall to be okay.

Lets get tested and lets TAKE THE FOCUS OFF SEX...AND PUT IT ON GOD, OUR CHILDREN, CAREERS, MINISTRIES...OUR TALENTS...WRITE THAT BOOK...MAKE THAT DEMO...

FELLAS... YOU SHOULD WANT A FEMALE TO BE ABLE TO OFFER YOU MORE THAN SOME P---

LADIES YOU SHOULD HAVE MORE TO OFFER A MAN THAN YOUR BODY PARTS.

LETS COVER UP...LETS HOLD OUR HEADS UP AND DEMAND MORE RESPECT. IF EACH OF US START SAYING "NO" THEY WILL ALL EVENTUALLY GET THE POINT BUT IF YOU ARE GIVING UP YOUR BODY AND SHOWCASING YOUR 'GOODIES' THAN YOU TAKE THE "GETTING TO KNOW YOU" OPTION OFF THE TABLE.

AND IF ANYONE WANTS TO HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX WITH YOU...YOU SHOULD TAKE IT AS THOUGH THEY ARE TRYING TO PASS OFF SOMETHING TO YOU BECAUSE NO ONE...NO ONE SHOULD WANT TO HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX WITH ANYONE NOWADAYS. THAT IS NOT A COMPLIMENT...ITS A SET UP...PLEASE BELIEVE THAT!

I know this was a long post! But it's a subject that needs to be talked about at all times..it's real talk!

My prayer is that none of you have to endure the tragedy that foolishness brings..knowledge is power..the more you know the more you grow..right out of a place where the enemy can keep you in bondage to a place where God can get the glory out of your life..Choose Life!!
