Men & Women of the Ministry & Premarital SEX!!!!

I have been in many conversations about premarital sex. We all know that Biblically it is WRONG!! However, I have heard several men and women say, "Oh, God knows that is just a thorn in my flesh. He will forgive me".

The people seem so nonchalant about it. It seems that they have either been taught wrong or they just do not care. It saddens me that so many people have allowed an act (sex) that was created for enjoyment between a married couple, to invade their lives.

I am even more sadden when my sisters and brothers who are in the ministry are participating in such a sinful act (outside of marriage). What happen to commitment to Christ? I have encountered so many men and women professing to be pastors, prophets, prophetess, ministers etc...but behind closed doors, they are living together in sin, having sex, drinking alcohol etc....

I have tried to pull them aside and pray with them and for them. They get angry when i say something to them. Should i just leave them alone and just continue to pray for them? Or should I continue to try to talk with them about the subject?

HELP!!!

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus!

You can never go wrong following the directions of scripture. For this reason I have posted two scripture references for your viewing and consideration.

My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins. (James 5:19-20 NIV)
Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. (Gal. 6:1 NIV)

The greek word for fault is parapipto; a side-slip (lapse or deviation), i.e. (unintentional) error or (wilful) transgression -- fall, fault, offence, sin, trespass.

The greek word for wander is Planao; to lead away from the truth, to lead into error, to deceive.

The greek word for restore is Katartizo; to fit out, equip, put in order, arrange, adjust.

The greek word for meekness is Praotes; gentleness.

Therefore, it is a possibility that they do not see the error of their ways, because they were deceived. It is your obligation as a sister in the Lord to address the problem with the individual. You must do this by letting them know the truth and you must be gentle in doing so. The bible also says to be watchful so that you do not fall into the same sin (because not only is it wrong, but you'll also be looked at as someone that do not practice what you preach). There are numerous ways to do so which is totally up to you unless Jesus tells you otherwise. I would prefer to speak with them faced to face, but if you are not comfortable with doing that.............I would recommend writing a letter just as Sister Knox suggested. Pray first, so the Holy Spirit can guide you as you minister to these individual, because you are ministering unto the Lord by doing this. Continue to do the work of the Lord!

Pray first. Then if you feel led, go to your brother or sister. Pray about your delivery and timing. Remember if they reject you they reject God on the subject.

God does not make exceptions on the issue of sex out side of marriage.. Satan does. But God is putting him on notice in these latter days. NOTHING will prosper to those who are living in rebellion. Pray that their eyes will be opened. Some of them are blind and then some are flat out in rebellion. Either way if they were to die as fornicators they will spend eternity in Hell. Can they afford this gamble with their soul.

If you can get their addresses and send them an anonymous letter that may be another option for you and mention some of these truths with scripture. Sometimes the flesh rises up in people when you speak to them in person and a letter is better, you can express more.

Blessings Royal Sister in Christ!
