Music...Can it build or tear down a church membership...

wanted to get some fee back on this subject. Can the praise and worship be the link that will build when they follow the lead of Holy Spirit or if they have their own agenda. Can it really. What's your thoughts or have any of the pastor ever had this to happen and had to bring order.

Thxs for your comment, I think it can set the atmorehrere for the Spirit of God to move on behalf of his people or it can set the atmorehere that Holy Spirit will be hindered from showing up. Sometimes it's the move of God by his Spirit! So much so that man can't minister but the Lord is ministering to his people by the Spirit!

Music sets the pace for many things in the church. Praise ushers in the move of the holy spirit. Worship gets the people involved in their personal presentation to God. These two things set atmosphere in church. There is deliverance in the flow of music many times. There is a song by Helen Baylor "Music is a voice of GOd" that really moves me. i feel that

we must use all the elements available to us to be in the presence of the Lord.Sometimes the music breaks down

barriors and helps in the fight against spirits, This I have found to be true. Misuse of music to influence or to selfishly propel selfish motives onto others is not to be tolerated in church. having pastored before I always prechecked things that were to be presented before the church because there can be no hidden agendas. God Bless !
