NIng stopping free web service

I understand that as of May 4, 2010 that Ning will stop its free web page service and begin to charge a fee for the service that millions have come to enjoy, use and to promote their services, products and themselves. If you have further information please confirm....and pass it on. It would be a shame for many users to be caught unaware.
