Obedience to God
Hi, my name is Prophetess LaTarsha Forbes. Welcome to Feed My Sheep radio talk. Today's topic is about obedience. That is obedience to God. I don't know how many unsaved audience, or how many of you who have not given your life to Jesus Christ. Jesus was born by a virgin name Mary. God the Creator blessed Mary's womb and she conceived the Savior of the world. Jesus came to save God's children from Satan. The Savior wants to be the possessor of your soul instead of Satan. Satan, also known as Lucifer he was a Cherub Angel who rebelled against God. Along with his rebellion, he consorted and took two-thirds of God's Angels when he was kicked out of Heaven. The Angels are known as imps, small demons. God kicked Lucifer, now Satan also known as the devil to earth, according to Ezekiel 28:2 Ezekiel 28:12-17 Revelation 12 and Isaiah 14:12-21. Satan was cast down to earth, where humans live. Satan is the Prince of the atmosphere. Satan's goal is to deceive God's creation which are humans, or mankind, according to John 12:31 John 14:30 2Corinthians 4:4 and Ephesians 2:2. Once an individual will themselves to Satan and sin, then one wills their soul to eternal damnation. Which is call hell, soon Jesus will return and Satan will be bound in hell with the lost souls, or with the disobedient. "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft", according to 1Samuel 15:22-23. In order to divert hell one has to give their soul, heart, mind, will, and emotion to Jesus also known as Savior, or Messiah. One has to invite Jesus into their heart according to Romans 10:9. Then one will be saved. In addition to your confession, one has to live for him, meaning obeying His commandments John 14:15. You must have a repentative heart, read the Bible, pray to Him, worship Him, and fellowship with a local Church. Just simply live the lifestyle as born-again Christian. If you sin ask the Lord to forgive you, meaning to repent to Him and He will forgive you of your sins. Living in guilt is not an requirement of the Lord, it doesn't show you as remorseful. The Lord looks at our hearts, repenting is the key. Jesus said there is no condemnation, after repentance. Lift up your head. Let go of your sin or sins and continue on your Christian Journey. Now, Feed my sheep came about after completing my book editorial.
Feed My Sheep is not only for feeding God's children it is also for marketing the business side of my ministry. Feed my sheep is referenced from John 21. My specific job or God given assignment is to preach the Gospel. And to compel the lost to the Cross. My destiny is to affect generations. Quote, "He is merciful to a thousand generations who keep my commandments", Exodus 20:6. And how does He reach the thousands. Romans 10:1-16 said, "Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) or, “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “LORD, who has believed our report?”
My ministry stands on Joshua 1:18. The mandate God has placed on my life is to bring His children to the "symbolism" Land of Canaan. Today we know it as abundant living. My assignment is to lead and teach His children on how to gain access and live in the realm of abundance. Second, I am to lead and show His children how to enter into the realm of the Spirit. Third, lead and usher His children into the Kingdom of Heaven. Now, taking you to my new book, Obedience Is Better Than Sacrifice. How many of you know that there is an authoritative figure over each and every last one of us. You don't believe it, here are some examples of authorities. God, State officials, law enforcement, United States Government, your employer. If you want to keep your job, you will do what is required of you from that employer, reference 1 Peter 2:13-25. Your parent(s), teachers, or if you are married, your husband is of an authority, believe it or not. Your husband is the head of the household. Follow the husband as he follows Christ. Meaning, don't break the law for or with him. Do not suffer abuse from him, get out of it. That is not God. If God joined you together then there is love, because God is love, not hate and meanness, according to Matthew 19:6, 1 Corinthians 6:14-17.
Reference Scriptures Colossians 3:19 reads, "Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord". Titus 2:5 reads, "to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed". Another Scripture 1 Peter 3:1-2, "Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear". So obeying your spouse is a witnessing tool to others, meaning your marriage is your ministry. Even Jesus says, "If you love Me you will obey my commandments". Lastly, there are Ephesians 5:25, 28, 1 Corinthians 11:3, 1 Peter 3:7, Proverbs 27:15, and Proverbs 14:1.
Uncle Sam is of an authority and Internal Revenue Service- delaying, lying, or not paying your taxes is unlawful. Give to Caesar which is Caesar's according to Scriptures. If you break the laws of the Land, one is disobeying God. If you break the ten commandments of the Bible you are disobeying God, according to Romans 13:1-17 and Deuteronomy 5.
My book speaks about my disobedience and I give life illustrations. I teach and minister through my heartaches, disappointments of my own doing. I minister through my grief and triumph. I tell the stories of God's mercy, and His love towards me. I give the ventures of my life. What I endured, saw, and lived through with Jesus help. I speak about life itself. I allowed God to minster through me, I am a vessel used of God. The Bible reads we are to be the temple of the Holy Ghost,1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Therefore, I stepped back, stopping my own reasoning, personal, and worldly intellect; which in turned allowed the Holy Ghost to speak through my writing. Jesus wants to touch some people through my book. He wants to touch some minds, so that He may be magnified in the readers' heart. He wants to put some trust there, for Him. He has a Word for many in my book Obedience is better than sacrifice. Reach out your hands, raise them up. I want to pray for you. Lord, I thank you for all the listeners. And I pray that Your Words did not fall on deaf h ear. I pray that the enemy, the devil will not steal the seed, which is the Word God. Father God bless your children, turn their hearts to You. I pray that you break through all hard heartiness and renew a just spirit in them. Lord, show Yourself strong in their present circumstances. Lord, don't allow the devil or sin to move them out of position or further from You. Saturate the listeners' heart with your anointing, break through to them and pull them out of that danger zone, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and financially. Lord rescue them let the Holy Ghost flow on them, through them, and finally rest in them in Jesus name. Amen

"God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!"
