Do you believe once you accept Christ that's all to it? Do you believe that its unrevokable? Or are we eternally pre-destined? How do you know what you are eternally pre-destined for?

Please respond saints. I am looking forward to a lively discussion on this matter. It has been one that has caused much division. Give your thoughts, be blessed.

Humble regards,

Grace and Peace Rev. Weston, pray all is well. With regard to your request for lively discussion on ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED "Fact or Fiction" It is my belief based on scripture once one is truly save through faith in Christ, they are sealed unto the day of redemption: Eph. 4:30... God Will Not Permit His Elect to Be Lost

But God, who is rich in mercy, according to the unchangeable purpose of His election, does not completely withdraw His Holy Spirit from His own even when they are in the worst of condition of their fall. God does not allow us to fall so low that we fall away from His grace of adoption, and the state of justification, or commit the sin unto death or the sin against the Holy Spirit; or get to a point where He would totally desert us, and thus allowing us plunge ourselves into eternal ruin. Ephesians 2:4-10 ( NASB ) 4But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together £with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

We have been given an assurance through faith with regard to our preservation. Believers can be certain and are certain of this preservation of the elect to salvation and the perseverance of true believers in the faith. This assurance is according to the measure of their faith, by which they surely believe that they are and always shall remain true and living members of the Church, and that they have forgiveness of sins and life eternal.

I will end with this and add more later: This Doctrine Hated by Satan But Loved by the Church

This doctrine of the eternal security for those who have been truly saved through faith, and possess the certainty of their salvation, which God has most abundantly revealed in His Word, for the glory of His Name and for the consolation of the godly, and which He impresses on the hearts of believers, the natural man does not really understand. Satan hates it, the world ridicules it, the ignorant and hypocrites abuse it, and the heretics oppose it. The Bride of Christ, however, has always most tenderly loved and constantly defended it as a treasure of inestimable value, and God, against whom no counsel can avail and no strength can prevail, will see to it that she (the bride which is the church in us) continues to do so to the end. To God alone, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, be honour and glory forever. Amen.
