Spiritual Afterbirth
As the pregnant woman approaches the time to give birth,
she writhes and cries out in her labor pains,
thus were we before You, O LORD.
18We were pregnant, we writhed in labor,
we gave birth, as it seems, only to wind
we could not accomplish deliverance for the earth,
nor were inhabitants of the world born. Isaiah 26:17-18
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Jesus said, "Simon, listen to me! Satan has demanded the right to test each one of you, as a farmer does when he separates wheat from the husks. But Simon, I have prayed that your faith will be strong. And when you have come back to me, help the others."
