Precious is a love
That is given from the heart
The nurturing of a little soul
Like a flower it grows
Protective is her essence
Always providing for her child
She becomes a teacher of life
A mentor of one’s imagination
She is love and inspiration
Her mind fertilizes a child’s imagination
Planting the seeds within their minds to grow
Through the situations of life, a mother knows
A mother is a precious gift
One not be taken lightly
