SENSITIVITY is Not Weakness, it is the Signature of Submission!

It is easier to be touched with the feeling of someone else's infirmity when you've suffered through it yourself. If we're insensitive we can hurt the very people we're trying to encourage. We don't know what they've been through or what they may be dealing with, that's what makes assumptions so dangerous, because instead of really ministering to the needs of an individual, we end up frustrating the person by trying to help according to what we think we know or understand. If we are sensitive to the situation we will more than likely be able to comprehend the emotions attached to that situation, which is more effective than trying to be a 'know-it-all'. Connection is the key that unlocks the shackles of fear that prevent some of us from even trying to live on purpose!
