Servants of the True and Living God & How They Must Live(Part 1)

Hezekiah: There is an issue out there who the world says are the servants of God, and who the Bible says are the servants of God. The world says how a servant of God must live, and it does not line up with how the Bible says live, and we are going to clear that up in this Thread. I have been personally afflicted, and persecuted for bringing the scriptures, and demanding that it be read for face value. The Lord said to read it at face value. we are going to read that. We are also going to find out how you are to read the Bible too.

Isaiah 28:9-13 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Isaiah 8:20-21 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.

2Peter 1:19-20 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation

Hezekiah: So we read from those verses that we had to learn to read the Bible Line upon Line Precept upon Precept, Here a little, there a little. We also learned that we have to read it with the law, and prove the law by the testimony, and the scriptures are of no private interpretation, in other words, read it for what it says. Let's go further.

Romans 6:1-8

Hezekiah To the untrained eye this may seem as if it is saying the law is gone, but it is not saying that. Read it, It says that we are not to serve sin. we are to sill keep the commandments. Yes we will fall, but still keep the commandments because if you don't make the effort not to sin, then you serve sin. Not sinning is keeping the Commandments. Sin is transgression of the law. 1John 3:4. Let's go further.

Ecclesiastes 5:1-6

Hezekiah: He said be more willing to hear than to speak when you are in the house of God. He said the multitude of words mean nothing. That is why I just post the scriptures most of the time. Do we also see how I am guiding you through the scriptures. Just as the Bible says. I am going to the Law, and to the testimony, and it is here a little there a little, and our Precept is servants of God and how they must live. So we have learned that the we must be slow to speak and quick to hear. The multitude of word is of a fool. we learned we are to keep the commandments. Let's go further.

Ephesians 4:21-32

Hezekiah: We learned that we are to put away lying, be angry, but sin not, let him that steal, steal no more. This is a servant of God now. We learned we are not to let corrupt communication come out of our mouths, like cussing, and speaking of things that are not of God. We are to do these things people, to set ourselves apart. No more bitterness, wrath, clamour, evil speaking, and malice. All these things we must put away. Let's look these words up.
Bitterness: (n.)exhibiting intense animosity
Wrath: (n)strong vengeful anger or indignation
Clamour: (n)insistent public expression (as of support or protest)
Malice: (n)desire to cause pain, injury, or distress to another
Wow, we need to put this stuff away if we are true servants of God.

Colossians 3:5-14

Hezekiah: WOW!! Look at all this stuff we need to put away to be servants of God, fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. All these things we must put away. Let's look these words up now.
Fornication: (n)consensual sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other — compare adultery
Uncleanness: (adj)morally or spiritually impure
Inordinate affection: (adj)disorderly, unregulated pleasure; usually sexual.
Evil Concupiscence: (adj) unchecked desire; especially : sexual desire
Covetous: (adj) marked by inordinate desire for wealth or possessions or for another's possessions Look at all of this stuff we have to put away to be servants of God.

James 1:19-27

Hezekiah: More stuff we need to put away, all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, This all is true Holiness when we put all these things away. Jesus did not die, so you didn't have to practice getting rid of these bad acts that we read about. He said that we have to be a doer of the Word, and not a hearer only. That does not sound like a Christ who did it all to me. It sounds like we have to do something too. Let's look up these words now.
Filthiness: (adj)covered with, containing, or characterized by filth
Superfluity of Naughtiness: (adj)immoderate and especially luxurious living, habits, or desires; and guilty of disobedience or misbehavior

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Hezekiah:What is unspotted from the world mean? Let's look it up.
Unspotted: (adj)free from moral stain We are going to leave it there for now. I hope you took the time to read the scriptures posted, and the thread to get an understanding of this information. If you are doing any of these things, then you should be practicing to put these things away if you are a true servant of God. Let's talk about what you read, and I will set up part 2 when we have some understanding of part one Please post if you have understanding of these scriptures.
