Seven Steps to Building God's House
There are seven steps to building the new church. God is calling His apostles to build His new church, and to build it they are going to lay a new foundation. They are going to put up new walls, they are going to put up a new roof. They are going to put in new everything and they are going to make God’s house the way it was meant to be. We are going to leave that old dilapidated house to fall apart, and we are going to demolish it and destroy it, because the Lord does not want to live there anymore. He is not satisfied to do it anymore. He wants a house that is made according to His specifications and according to His pattern. It is going to have to be done right and built right.
Now, how are we going to move from the old, from where things are at, into the new? I would like to suggest seven stages, seven steps that you, IF you are called to be a apostle of God, are going to be required to take in order to bring the church, the Body of Christ, out of where it is, into where God wants it to be. And until you have accomplished all of those seven steps and done what God wants you to do, you have not fully accomplished the apostolic call that God has placed upon your life.
And if you are not prepared to follow through those steps; if you have no desire or inclination to follow through those steps, the chances are the Lord did not call you to the apostolic ministry, and you are taking this apostolic course in vain, because you have no intention at all of moving out of the old and into the new.
[1.] So you need to examine yourself right now and you need to say, "Am I satisfied with the situation that the church is in? Am I satisfied with the house that God is being forced to live in right now?"
That is the first step, the first stage. I have taken seven words that begin with ‘d’ to describe the seven steps that need to be taken to build the new church. I am going to start going through them in this message, and we will cover every aspect of what God wants us to consider and do in order to restore His church to what it should be.
So the first step that needs to be taken is the step of discontentment. Which means a longing for something better than the present situation. You've got to hate the church before you can bring any change to it. You've got to be like Jesus who was willing to go into today's churches and flip tables for all the buying and selling going on.
[2.] The second is disassociation. Which means to remove from association. In Revelation 18:4 it says,
"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying ‘COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues"
Come out of… who? Who is the "her?" Her is a WOMAN. A woman in Scripture is a symbol for a CHURCH. Who is to "come out?" Answer: "MY people." Where are they? In her, in the CHURCH. What Church? The MOTHER CHURCH. Who is the MOTHER CHURCH? The church that appears to be so good, with good doctrines, and good teachings and spiritual appearing good works and righteousness, which in reality are abominations:
"And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto you the judgment of the GREAT WHORE that sits upon many waters [many nations of people]: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication [intimate religious/political/economic relationships], and the inhabitants of the earth have been made [spiritually] DRUNK with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of ABOMINATIONS and FILTHINESS of her FORNICATION: And upon her forehead [where WE should have the name of God our Father, Rev. 14:1, but this mother church has instead…] …a name written,
MYSTERY, BABYLON, THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH" (Rev. 17:1-5).
So here is the worldwide mother church with her many catholic and protestant daughters, that sits upon many nations of people, holding a spiritual looking gold cup that when one partakes of it and drinks it down inside, it is really filled with, "abominations and filthiness"—instead of being the marvelous spiritual "DEPTHS of God" it is rather, "the DEPTHS of Satan.
We are not asked by God to "leave His Church," but rather to move from the carnal Jerusalem church under bondage to the spiritual Jerusalem church which is free.
[3.] The third is determination. Which means the act of making or arriving at a decision. All this means is repent! Turn around. Change your thinking. Being an apostle has nothing to do with going to church and warming pews while some man does all the ministry with his small staff of people getting paid off the little money (OLD COVENANT TITHE) you already make. The commission was to "MAKE DISCIPLES!" Which means "perfecting or maturing the saints" and "preparing them for ministry." You have to die to and forsake all the things you so desire for Jesus Christ. I am a hip hop artists and I tell the guys on my label this, "I don't care how many mixtapes and albums you make, if you are not bearing fruit you will be cut off from the Tree of Life." Jesus is coming back for FRUIT not your high profile preaching ministry and your ministry T-shirts you sale at the end of service.
[4.] The fourth is deliberation. Which means the act of deliberating, or of weighing and examining the reasons for and against a choice or measure; careful consideration; mature reflection; Careful discussion and examination of the reasons for and against a measure. You know what comes to mind? COUNT THE COST! Before you even THINK about it you need to carefully weigh whether or not you got what it takes to be an apostle. Jesus said in Luke 14,
"Is there anyone here who, planning to build a new house, doesn't first sit down and figure the cost so you'll know if you can complete it? If you only get the foundation laid and then run out of money, you're going to look pretty foolish. Everyone passing by will poke fun at you: 'He started something he couldn't finish.' Or can you imagine a king going into battle against another king without first deciding whether it is possible with his ten thousand troops to face the twenty thousand troops of the other? And if he decides he can't, won't he send an emissary and work out a truce? Simply put, if you're not willing to take what is dearest to you, whether plans or people [father, mother, spouse, children, brothers, sisters—yes, even one's own self], and kiss it good-bye, you can't be My disciple [nor apostle]."
[5.] The fifth is displacement. Which means the act of removing from office or employment. If you look all throughout the Bible God used His true servants to remove the false leaders. Moses displaced Pharaoh. David displaced Saul. Jesus displaced the Pharisees. Joshua displaced all the nations in Canaan. God is going to use the apostle and the rest of the Five Fold Ministry to displace the church leaders of today. Creflo Dollar, TD Jakes, Benny Hinn, Paula White, Rick Warren. ALL THESE FALSE MINISTERS GOT TO GO FOR THE CHURCH TO GET STRONGER!
[6.] The sixth is development. Which means the act of improving by expanding or enlarging or refining. THIS IS MAKING DISCIPLES! Music helps but it is limited. You need to be building the Body according to the pattern shown thee on the mount like Moses. Jesus BUILT 12 MEN! Paul built Timothy, Titus, Silas, Luke and many others up. You need to read the "Spartacus Vision" I posted up on my page. King David built up his thirty mighty men. You have to start developing God's people to be what God wants them to be. Paul called himself "a master builder." Are you one?
[7.] And the seventh is deployment. There are many good definitions for deployment. Here's one:
1. a. To position (troops) in readiness for combat, as along a front or line. b. To bring (forces or material) into action. c. To base (a weapons system) in the field.
2. To distribute (persons or forces) systematically or strategically.
3. To put into use or action
THIS IS A WAR BETWEEN SATAN AND HIS CHURCH AGAINST GOD AND HIS CHURCH! WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?
Satan's church is in the literal building.
God's churches meet "from house to house" in homes.
