Shake and Fake
Today my word is Shake and Fake
I was driving down the road and this dropped into my spirit. I know everybody remember when shake and bake first came out everybody tried it at least once. The purpose of shake and bake was to have that fried look and crispy taste without all the grease. If you noticed it might have been alright but nothing can take the place of the fried foods that we eat. So what is Shake and Fake, it is simply what it sounds like. Every time you pretend to be something that you are not. We all have seen these so called saints (Aints) that are mean as a junk yard dog, can't stand nobody, can't say nothing good about anybody and every time you say something to them they think you have a motive. But just as soon as they get to the church, they are just as friendly, loving, kind and anointed(so they think) Those are the shake and fake folks. The difference is just like the shake and bake doesn't have the grease, these shake and fakes don't have any power to keep them from the negative things of this world. That power that will quicken you when you want to do so or say the wrong things. That power to make you be real and truthful at all times. God does not need off brand saints he needs the real thing to do his work. We ought not be like a lizard (changing colors) trying to fit into to every crowd that comes along. We must always remember The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Proberbs 15:3 So that says I might as well not try to hide it because the Master is watching me at all times! Next with shake and fake folks they do all that they can to keep up a certain look in the church because they motives are to appear a certain way to man, but the main thing we must understand is this, But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart 1 Samuel 16:7. So that says you might can fool people some of the time but u can never fool God! He is there all the time! We must continuously check ourselves that we are not shaking and faking because God calls us in to realness and all truth!
