Soma, Psyche, Pneuma.

I Thessalonians 5: 23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 4; 12 For the word of God [is] living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

I .Soma –means – Body. (Carnal)


1. Sight--------Eye gate.
2. Smell-------Nose gate.
3. Hearing. ----Ear gate.
4. Taste-------Mouth gate.
5. Touch……..Feel gate.

II. PSYCHE……..means Soul. (Natural)

1. Imagination.
2. Conscience.
3. Memory.
4. Reason.
5. Affections.

III.PNEUMA……..means Spirit. (Spiritual)
1. Faith.
2. Hope
3. Reverence.
4. Prayer
5. Worship.
