In dealing with a number of recent death in my family, I have found that in this time we need to make sure to do some things before we die. In Gen. 45:28 (NKJV) Jacob states, “It is enough, Joseph my son is still alive, I will go see him before I die.” Perhaps many people today have made similar statements.

Some have said, “I’m going to make this right with that person before I die.” Others have said “I ‘m going to pay that debt before I die.” Someone else might have said, “I plan on becoming a Christian before I die.” The problem with the last statement is that e don’t know when death will come.

The Bible tells us that death is swift, sudden and unexpected. David describes the brevity of life by stating, “It is soon cut off, and we fly away.” Psalms 9:10 (NKJV) James further adds ” For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for al ittle time and then vanishes away.” James 4:14. If we wait to do somethings and death comes before we are ready, then what?

To keep that from happening, I tell you that the Bible has the answer for us.

The meat of the matter is we only may have today to get it right. And the key word is “TODAY”. The word “today” is found 161 times in 147 verse in the NKJV. The Hebrews writer quotes from the 95th Psalm when he wrote, “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden yur hearts. Hebrews 4:7. Jesus told Zacchaeus, “Today salvation has come to your house.” Luke 19:10 (NKJV). Let us not put off before we die what we must do today. Seek Salvation TODAY.

THINK ABOUT IT!!!!
