I have been amazed at some the trends that I am beginning to see regularly at churches. For some reason, although I admit I am a little old school, I don't feel like this is what God meant by being modest, set apart and a royal priesthood. Many sisters are getting tattooed faster than they are learning the virtues in Proverbs 31. Tattooing their necks, arms, legs, thighs and even their faces!!!
I know you love your family, your children and all of your deceased relatives, but is it really necessary to get all of that tattooed on you? "All is vanity and vexation of the spirit." I'm just saying...What is cute to you now at your current age, may not be cute 5 or 10 years from now. We quote that God is able to do exceeding, abundantly above and that we want Him to bless us, yet, we are doing things that are not conducive to success.
Yes. We are favored. Yes, we've all made mistakes in life. Yes. God is looking at your heart. But don't be fooled people, we as Christians should represent Him well. What's on the inside will reflect on the outside. We are not to conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds. We don't have to try to be like the latest R&B singer who is "tatted" from head to toe. Our role models are much more classy than that. Jesus lives in you. The Holy Ghost is your guide, that alone makes you Distinctively Necessarily Different. Sisters, Awaken the virtue within. Recapture the essence of your ladyhood as daughters of the King!
Kingdom Charm School is about to take the nation by force! God wants his ladies back...
Is it me? Do I stand alone? I doubt it. What do you think?
