TEMPTATION KNOCKED ON MY DOOR

Temptation knocked on my door last night.
Instead of giving in to Temptation, I decided to fight.
I am single by choice so I sleep alone in my bed.
At times, I think I will never get married and this is something that I dread.
Last night, I looked back at the promise that God made to me.
He said that He would bless me with a powerful Man in the Lord, which is my Destiny.
In the past, it was hard for me to wait on God’s promise so I played in Temptation’s backyard.
This time I remembered when I played with Temptation, I always got charred.
It has been hard to battle Temptation, almost every Sunday I had to go to the altar to confess.
I am starting to learn that I need to work on me; God will not bless His best with mess.
Last night instead of failing, I passed Temptation’s test.
However, although I passed this time, I knew that Temptation would never rest.
So I put on the whole armor of God now I can endure Temptation’s ploy.
I am going to put up a good fight, which is something Temptation will not enjoy.
Soon Temptation will get tired and stop knocking at my door.
By then I will be married to the man that I have been waiting for.
