Just Between God and me
By: Reginald White/ The Gospel Poet
In my life I've had valleys to walk through and mountains to climb.
A journey often traveled by faith that manages to disappear sometimes.
Then I realize He that walks beside me has never gone away.
He just picks me up, wipes me off, and places me on a rock to stay.
I never have to worry about His protection,
although i sometimes do.
He cast my sins into the sea of forgetfulness;
In my flesh they feel brand new
Still I strive to rise above my flesh and allow my spirit to roam free.
Now I realize my judgment is not up to man.
It's Just Between God and Me.
