I would like to get reaction from this Preaching Network to the fact that in his first 2 days as President President Obama's priorities were:

1) to rescind an executive order barring federal funds use for foreign abortions. This will now use tax payer funds to fund abortions from Mexico to India.

2) To repeal the already controversial "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy. This will allow homosexuals to enlist and openly practice their lifestyle in the military.

I was merely asking a question.

Below is a letter and release from Dr. Alveda King niece of MLK.

Dr. Alveda King to Keynote White House Rally for Birmingham Letter Project

Washington, DC – Dr. Alveda King, Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will deliver the keynote address at a rally in front of the White House Friday. The rally will honor the 1,400 African American children aborted every day in the United States.

“Over 45 years ago, my Uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., wrote from a Birmingham jail cell that ‘[i]njustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere,’” said Dr. King. “Today, there is no greater injustice than that suffered by the 4,000 babies, 1,400 of them black, who die on any given day at the hands of abortionists. Friday, we will stand witness in front of the White House and testify to President Obama that while he is living his dreams, those babies will be dying horrible deaths because of the policies he supports.”

The 12:00 PM rally this Friday is a part of the Birmingham Letter Project, a four-day program that, like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s famous letter, challenges Christians to leave their comfort zones and confront injustice.

“I see the pride on African American faces everywhere, pride in the tremendous breakthrough President Obama represents,” added Dr. King. “But I also can close my eyes and see the millions upon millions of young black, white, red, and yellow faces who never had the chance to live, overcome, or witness history. Friday, we will challenge President Obama to see those faces as well.”

1. President Obama has only been in office 1 day, he was sworn in on January 20, 2009. Your blog was written January 21, 2009 at 9 pm.
2. I have not heard of any of the orders you have mention. Although I do not condone nor condemn abortions, I believe that is between the woman and the God she serves because I do not know her situation.
3. As for homosexuals serving in the U.S. Military, I see nothing wrong with it nor anything wrong with others knowing that they are homosexuals. You speak of them openly practicing their lifestyle, I don't believe that they will be having intimate moments in the puplic no more than heterosexuals would. We as children of God needs to stop judging others because they choose to live their lives differently from us. Especially since we all have sinned and there is no degree of sin. A homosexual will not be sentence to more years in Hell than someone commiting fornication or adultry. As God's children we are suppose to accept all of our brothers and sisters in love and pray for their salvation as we pray for our own. We all will have to answer to God when the time comes.
