What will it take to be chosen.

Revelation: Why God did not choose Reuben who was the first born. Was it because he slept with his father’s concubine Bilhah. Why God did not choose Simeon and Levi, which are the next two in line according to their birthright. Was the birthrights concerning the first born cursed after Esau sold his birthright to his brother Jacob. Maybe it was because Simeon and Levi took it upon themselves to murder in the honor of their sister Dinah. Wickedness was in the heart of all three of these men who was the son’s of Jacob and Leah. Is it because they were children of Leah who Jacob was tricked to marry and because of their trickery God would not honor their seeds born by them, together. But there is Judah who was the seed of Jacob and Leah so this could not be the answer because Judah was chosen by God. Through Judah the promise of Abraham came into effect. Judah’s heart was different and his heart was pure, even though he got himself in some situations such as Tamar, he still was the call of God.

Judah was different from all his brethren. He was always standing in the gap and he had a honest word for every situation. When he was before his brother (Joseph) who he knew not he was his brother, he quickly stood in the gap for his father concerning Benjamin. Joseph yet trying to make sure his father was still alive so he could protect his brother and maybe place his eyes upon his father once again. Their was a great transition taking place in the mist of these two as Judah spoke. Judah knowing his father would die if the child was not returned to him, quickly repented for his wrong to get Joseph to allow Benjamin to return.

Joseph probably remembered, if Judah would not have told his brethren to sell him to the Ishmaelite he probably would be dead today. If Judah would have never said anything would Joseph heart be so modest or would he have taken his brother Benjamin with no second thought and sent them back to where they came from.

Judah had heart and God saw the heart of Judah so God choose Judah to continue the lineage to bring forth the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. Allow your heart to be like the heart of Judah, not because his name means praise due to Leah trying to get the attention of Jacob, but because we want to get the attention of our savior Jesus Christ.

God please purify our hearts to walk after you and to become mediator as you are our mediator to get to God. Purge us and wash us clean and renew a righteous spirit within us so we can be chosen as a part of your inheritance through the promises of God. We desire to be a part of you a part of the chosen ones.
