Wow this is awesome, I am a child prodigy of Dr Jeremiah Alvester Wright. I know he is a awesome black man who taught us black empowerment not hatred. He taught being true to the song we were young gifted and black, taught us the true meaning of Kwanza, and to educate your self and to love your God with all your heart. My baby brother had the opportunity of being mentored by our president at the time when america didnt know him. He observed him take off his jacket and clean the church. So to God be the glory. God is gonna have his way wheather we like it or not.
God is awesome and holy
In his face

For the first time America is being what it should be. A black President, another woman as Secretary of State, a Latino Supreme Court Justice, a black U. S. Attorney General, a black N.A.S.A. President, etc. But unfortunately this racial progress is a little too much for some of our white brothers and sisters. As I watched the hatred displayed at some of the town hall meetings across the nation, I listened sorrowfully as some of our white brothers and sisters proclaim that they want their country back. But the truth is, their country isn't gone, there is no longer the dominance of a white majority and this is what they want back. I am reminded that it was the white vote which enabled President Obama to take office. Yet there are a few who lack the Spirit of Jesus Christ, I never thought that there would be a day when I'd have to answer my grandchild when he ask. "Why do they hate us so?" The same question I asked my father during the 1960's, sadly the day has come. It makes you wonder, what God do they serve? Because the God I serve I'm sure does not approve of them carrying a poster of Barack Obama which has been defaced to resemble that of Adolf Hitler. The God I serve is not pleased with them attending these town hall meetings with loaded weapons. Pastor Bell, I think the best we can do for them is to lift them up in prayer.

For the most part in White America they have to continue to look for something because a great deal of America was built on hate. Hate is a never ending spirit. It lives because there are people who thrive off if it. I watched a documentary about a week in a half ago where in Charleston, Mississippi had its first integrated prom in 2008 at Charleston High School. "Mississippi integrated its public schools in 1970, but segregation still haunts parts of the culture. The Delta town had maintained a system of separate proms — organized privately — for black and white students." Can you believe there were white parents who were overly adamant about their child not attending the "integrated" prom. To add insult to injury, these white parents still went ahead an had a private white prom for about 35 white kids who attended the school. I was thunderstruck. I could not believe in the 21 first century people are still teaching their children to hate black people. One white man on the documentary openly admitted he doesn't like his daughter dating a black guy. However, he understood you can't pick and choose who your children date. He also admitted that his grandfather taught his father to hate, his father taught to him to hate and when you do that you more often than not will pass hate to your own children. This is America in 2009. There are parts of Georgia in 2009 where you know this is not where I need to be as a black person. The stinch of hatred still lingers.

not sure where the idea of speaking truth is an attack however, I'm not moved by the color of a man's skin what moves me is does he love the Lord? I don't care about this man's birthplace but I do care about what comes out his mouth and the things he does; especially to our country. The proof we love the Lord is that we keep His commandments...can we say killing the unborn is keeping the Lords commandments? What the church also needs to do in addition to "love" is speak the truth in love!
