A member has asked; have you found that many of the relationships you had when you were not saved are better than many of the relationships you have tried to establish since being saved and in the church. This member feels the integrity of many of her friends who are unsaved is better and longer lasting than relationships in the church. She is member of a social group from college and is now 43 and those relationships are much stronger and meaningful than any she has been able to establish in the church
She would like to know why do you feel this is so, if that is the case and what should she expect or do about the relationships in the church that seems to present a lack of integrity, and filled with gossip and lies

i would advise her to continue to pray for the right people in her life. and while she is patiently waiting, find comfort in the presence of Jesus all by herself. i am at a point in my life where the Lord as me "isolated". and i know it is for a reason, and a season. so when the time is right, and when HE is ready, He will plant her with the support she needs. and I pray until that happens she will become content with the presence of the Lord, and realize that He is all the friend she needs ; )

content in isolation...

Words such as "forsaken", "rejected" are dealt with numerous times throughout the bible. I just did a series on "The Power of 2 and the Divine Connection of 3". Satan realizes the power of unity, and togetherness, therefore one of his primary ways of attack is through division, and separation. With that being said and I will not preach the message, but the "KINGDOM OF GOD" is NOT divided, yet the church is divided in denominations, black/white, rich/poor, tongues/no tongues, pants/no pants, hats/no hats and on and on. These divisions prevent Kingdom relationships from forming and is a stronghold of the enemy.

Therefore relationships in the world are easier and longer lasting, because the enemy has already achieved his goal. The "KINGDOM OF GOD" is different we must work harder at relationships, but that is why the bible says in; Amos 3:3; Can two walk together, except they be agree and Matt. 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Celebrate if you find two or three, because God is then in the midst.

Hope this helps

Much Love,
Pastor Dixon
