Worship is not a part of the Church's agenda

I was raised up in the church, and now as an adult I bring my own children. I have noticed over the years, services that are filled with songs inviting the Holy Spirit to come in and fellowship. Songs expressing hunger and thirst for the presence of God. Prayers pleading with God to saturate the atmosphere with His Glory. But as soon as He honors us with His presence, we go back to the Church's Agenda. Christ is the Church's agenda. Without Christ, there is no churcn, no service, no point. We have to press our way beyond tradition, beyond our own objectives and agendas, and get into the presence of God. He is faithfully waiting on us to get desperate and hungry enough to break the traditional lines of worship and give a HEART OF WORSHIP.
