It’s that time again when we are looking for articles for the yearly publication of ALABASTER MAGAZINE! Our next magazine will come out in June of 2009 and we will love to have you be a part of it. Here are some of the things that we are looking for:



TEN GREATEST UNKNOWN WOMEN IN MINISTRIES: We would like to do an article on ten of the most powerful unknown women ministries in the nation. We want our readers to have examples to live by. So let us know who’s out there and what they are doing. Send us a photo and a 500+ word essay on why they should be included in our search. We will notify you when we have chosen the ten women.


ALABASTER MAGAZINE’S WOMAN OF THE YEAR: Do you know of someone who has made tremendous impact in the lives of the people around her community? Then nominate her for this great recognition. We will publish a cover story on her and let the world know of her accomplishments. Send us a photo and a 500+ word essay on why they should be included in our search. We will have 5 runners up and notify you when we have chosen these phenomenal women.


AUTHORS: If you have teaching material that you would like to share with the women of Alabaster magazine we are looking for articles to be published. Anything that will change the life of women will be greatly appreciated. Tell us about it.


WHAT IS ALABASTER READING: Read a great book lately that totally changed your mindset and your heart? Then recommend it for the Women of Alabaster Magazine. Send us a photo and a 500+ word essay on why they should be included in our search. We will notify you when we have chosen the books.


ALABASTER MUSIC: Tell us the music CD’s that you are listening to and we will let others know about it. Send us the copy of the CD Cover and tell us why you listen to us in 100 words or less.


ALABASTER RESOURCES: Do you know where women can find resources to study? Let us know and let us share it with everyone. Send us a copy of the cover and we will let people know.


TOP TEN CONFERENCES TO ATTEND IN 2009: Give us the heads up on what’s coming in 2009. We want to know! Send all the information and all the photos and will share it with our readers!


I BELIEVE I’LL TESTIFY! Have you overcome some hard obstacles in the last year? Tell us about it so we can encourage another woman. We will pick 5 great stories to debut for this new section. 1000 words or less is required.



ADVERTISEMENT: Alabaster Magazine only allows for 15 full-page ads and only 10 half-page ads. Please submit advertisement according to the way you wish for them to appear in magazine. Advertisement can be in the form of a Black & White Glossy, Scan Quality Photo, Floppy Disc, Attachment Please see attached form for cost information.


SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

All articles must have 1000 words or less.

1. Each line should be single spaced

2. Size 11 font in Times New Roman

3. Please send articles in Word Format

4. Photos can be sent by attachment to [e-mail]

5. Please have all pertinent information about the author: Name, address, phone # and a 4 sentence bio.

6. Photo of author should be attached and sent by email to [e-mail]

7. You may also mail your information by hard copy to: Alabaster Magazine, 4449 18th St. NW, Canton Ohio 44708.

I will need all articles sent to me by Saturday March 7, 2009. Chosen articles are not subject to financial restitution and Alabaster Magazine releases any reliability in accordance with this right. All articles and photos become the property of ALABASTER MAGAZINE and will not be returned. All writers reserve any and all copyrights. Submission of your article implies consent to publish in ALABASTER Magazine. Due to the amount of articles that we receive, no acknowledgement that article has been received will be given however, If your article is chosen, you will be notified by email.
