"Yes, I Am Like My FATHER"

2 Corinthians 3:16-18 (The Message)
16-18 Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God
removes the veil and there they are-face-to-face! They suddenly
recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of
chiseled stone. And when God is personally present, a living Spirit,
that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete. We're free
of it! All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the
brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the
Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God
enters our lives and we become like him.
Have you ever had a moment when you mind seemed really clear and your
vision when you looked out was so sharp and crystal clear?
God expects us to have those moments EVERYDAY!
Because I am like my Father, he has bestowed all the attributes of Him
in ME!
So yes, our vision and mind must continually be clear and our vision
sharp and our heart pure.
Ok I hear you saying..Oh I have too many things going on and that just
can't be so....
Well this morning I hate to bust your bubble...BUT the reason it is not
so is because YOU and not GOD have allowed life and situations and
circumstances and everything else to CLOUD YOUR MIND, YOUR VISION, YOUR
HEART.
SO DON'T BLAME GOD!
God is a spirit and his sovereignty and majesty and power can and will
transfigure and make EVERYTHING NEW and CRISP and CLEAR and SHARP.
God wants the Beauty and Brightness and Love and Power to be an
everyday lifestyle occurence with us!
That will be the only way the world will see His LIGHT...THROUGH
YOU!!!..His LOVE...THROUGH YOU!!..His POWER..THROUGH YOU!!
All throughout the BIBLE, the word of God states that he created us to
be like him..Go back and read..just don't take my word for it.
I don't know about you, but I have come to a place where the world can
know longer tell me who I am or who I am not!
Yes, I know who I am!!
