You can be successful

Success or failure in life depends on how well you develop your soul. The more you develop, the more you succeed. Your soul is the part in you that houses your wisdom, knowledge and emotions. It is the central part of you that bridges both your body and your spirit.

 

3 John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

 

Your soul has to be developed first before you can prosper in all things (financial wealth and material things) and be in good health.

 

Firstly, wisdom comes from God. “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (James 1:5) The only way to get anything from God is through prayers and reading the Bible. There is no short cut. I met a very rich man once and he told me the key of his wealth is that he read the book of Proverbs all the time. That is his secret of getting rich!

 

Secondly, you need the right knowledge. The only way to acquire knowledge is through education. The higher you go, the higher your chances of getting a well paying job. Obviously you need God’s wisdom to study the right discipline like medical science, accountancy, business management, etc. The right knowledge can also make you a successful businessman. You also need the relevant knowledge to keep up with good health, e.g. enough rest, exercise and nutrients and avoid an unhealthy lifestyle.

 

Thirdly, your emotions must be positive. If you have a positive emotion, you will have a positive mind. Positive people never say die. They have a ‘can do’ attitude and they tend to achieve new frontiers where average people can never achieve. Always remember, with God all things are possible.
