The main reason why most Christians allow Satan to set up strongholds in their lives and cause them to live in a spirit of defeat is because they really don't know who their dealing with. If they would just continue to tell themselves over and over again that he is already a defeated foe and that through prayer, we allow God's angels to defend us instead taking matters into our own hands we will be able to see the victory that Christ has already given us in our lives.
