Bro. Bowman, my post was not referencing you as being led by a Spirit of discord, the culprit recognized themself.

I do not agree with you that home church as a permanant assembly is good for saints, and I am not saying that God cannot work in a home, but that ones filled with the love of Christ seek out others that share that same love, and that home churches are for the most part unless those saints are homebound because of sickness... a chosen refuge from loving and caring about others

I am sorry brother Lennon, but English was not a common language in Israel 2,000 years ago.

Paul said God was given a name not some names read Philippians chi-pt. 2 vs. 9-11. God was called many name and titles but he have one name. He was called Immanuel in Matthew chi-pt. 1 vs. 23. Where are the Immanuel worshipers? At least we can find that name written in the New Testament. You were given one name not many names. God’s preachers are going to stick with the name the Apostles’ preached. We teach repentance and remission of sins through and by the name JESUS CHRIST.

Man seeks above all else to enjoy a relationship with God, and the first purpose of religion is to provide it...we reach up to the heavens in search of refuge and redemption. Whereas man is vulnerable, God is invincible. Whereas man can be irrational, God is the supreme embodiment of objective intelligence. Whereas man is unkind, God is infinitely giving. Whereas man is mortal, God is eternal. How then can they enjoy a relationship? It is a question that serves as the starting point for all believers...our attempts to ascend to the heavens is one principal way for man to bridge the separating from his Creator or LIVE to bring the Almighty down into this world.
