First of all, the question is too broad. Of course God can use women! He even used a donkey! The true question should be, up to which ministry has God decided to use women and when He did it, why did He do it?
You see, Paul went to work and he was a "tendmaker", but then we have to ask ourselves the question, ...why did Paul go to work, and for how long?
Paul, contrary to some ...luminary of theology, was not a women basher. Yet he said clearly that as the Church is (or should be), submitted to Christ, so should women be submitted to their husbands in everything. Then, if a Pastor or another minister in charge of a church wants to allow a woman or his wife to preach and to teach, he has the right to do it, but he is still responsible to God for whatever anyone teaches in the church he is in charge. We need to be careful when we say that God created the man and the woman together and that He made them both with the same authority. Man was created first and then the woman was created as a ...help met for the man! I know that there are also many men who should not be on a pulpit, but let's not meslead people by saying half truths and suggesting that the difference between a man and a woman was only at the time of the Corinthins! I suggest that you read carefully 1 Corinthians 11:3-10 and then 1 Timothy 2:13, 14. Then tell me if what Paul is saying is the Word of God or if he is teaching a lie! To make sure that He is not just talking about those regions, he even mentions the fact that Adam wa created first and then Eve! That has very little or nothing to do with the time of the Corinthins. It's for every time! We also need to keep in mind that apart from Deborah, which was called a prophetess because as she says in her song, at the time there were non real men around, all the other times God called men as prophets and as Apostles and Pastors. Women in some occasions were helping them as they could. Also, if God had created man and woman equal, Peter in his first letter and on chapter three, would not order the women believers to be submitted to their own husbands ...in everything! If then a woman is faithful and submitted to her own husband, she can even help him in the ministry, and he can even let her preach, but always under his aithority. ...Again what I heard on the interview to that Pastor and his wife was very misleading and not faithful to the Word of God. For this reason I don't feel at this time to become a member of your Messiah Tube.
