I chose not to answer it at that particular time, because in my spirit the Lord did not release me to respond to your question. I ask you "why not" discuss tithing. Have you ever studied the subject from the Biblical/Hebriac perspective? Do you understand that part of the tithe was to furnish provisions for the poor, the widows of the community? That there were years where no tithe was collected? I know of no church that is teaching tithing according to the scriptures, but only teach it according to "church tradition". If jpeople give their "tithes" to the church, and the neither the poor or the widows get part of the tithe, then "who is stealing" tithe money?
