We have too few forums where we can just be real about our emotional struggles in ministry provided to us. In fact, i meant to share with you in my last comment that you inspired me to do the blog thing. I read yours when I visted your page. So this was my very first blogging experince, and I thought I'd risk being transparent.
I have just finished another one just moments ago on WHY DO YOU WANT A CROWD? It hasn't posted yet, hopefully I didn't do something to lose it. Be looking for it though.

Ministry has its highs and its lows...like all other things, of course. The key to handle both is to be prayerful and watchful.
Gaines and Nobles are great guys indeed.. I have much love and respect for them both. In fact, I count them as friends. I'm sure you will find them to be valueable friends and advisers. Not to mention they will keep you laughing.
Be assured that in whatever way I can be of assistance to you, my brother, I am at your disposal. Ministering to other pastors is one of my great delights.
At the moment, I am not certain when I will be able to get that way, however, if you are affiliated with the NBC,USA, we can plan to grab lunch and fellowship at one of the meetings. In the meantime, feel free to shout at whenever you want, and I will be sure to keep contact with you as well.
