I am more than happy to be a child of God. God works through me to connect to the communiy. So many of our children have lost their way and are looking in the wrong places for comfort. I am out in the community, allowing God to use me as an example of a Christian. I am currently on the Board of Directors for Juneteenth 2012 and coordinate a Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Food Coop on the north side. I have received numerous comments regarding the presence of a church figure at Juneteenth--from the youth--it was very important for them to actually see one of God's servants out in the field.
