- Elder Leonora A. Wells is the only child of Michael and Yvonne Busch. I was raised in South Ozone Park Queens, New York. I attended John Adams H.S. and LaGuardia Community College.
Being an only child, I have come to have many Brothers and Sisters in Christ. God called me at an early age, and I found myself wanting more and more of (Him) Jesus. In 1989, I joined New Fellowship Full Gospel Baptist Church, under the divine leadership of Elder and Overseer George E. Finnie, Sr.
After serving as a member and other various duties in the Church I was called as a Deacon of the Church, I was ordained in 1997 and served faithfully, then God called me to a higher level in His Ministry, the duty to preach and teach his Gospel.
I attended the Greater Bible Bethel Institute for 4 years, where one of my senior Mentors was none other than Dr. Juanita Bynum and Institute Founder, Rev. John Boyd. I was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel in 2002. I also served in the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship as District Secretary for 6 years for Jamaica Queens, N.Y. In addition, to serving as Choir Director, Preacher, and teacher of the word of God.
I am married to one Husband, David Wells, after his retirement we left our home church in New York, and moved to Georgia in the knowledge that God would once again, direct our path in the area of Ministry.
My family and I joined the Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church in 2005, where I continued to preach and teach God’s Holy Word. God placed me under an anointed man of God, the honorable, spiritual leader Pastor James Marlon Knox, and his wonderful wife, First Lady Sonia Knox. In 2010, I was ordained as an Elder, as I continues to seek God's truth and thank Him for the chance to minister every chance I gets; my purpose in Ministry is to share with those who do not know the Gospel of Christ, and be a beacon unto Him that creates us all. I am thankful to God for His continued blessings and favor.
My passion is music and I dedicate my personal time in worshiping Him!
