SHOUTING OVER THE SAME STORY:  We trust everyone a Merry Christmas and happy upcoming New Year.  To God be the glory for an uplifting and inspirational service message DEC 25 by my Pastor in Dallas. “Shouting over the same story” (Luke 2: 7-16).  We all celebrated the day of His birth, yet more than the day Jesus was born;  we praise and honor Jesus for what He has done and is doing.  As we all celebrate, let us not forget that our souls should always glorify Him. He is forever mindful and remembers those of a humble heart and low in their burdens.  Remember, there are many at this hour and time who still suffer from past loss of loved ones they no longer can celebrate with.  Our hearts go out to the bereaved and grieving families as I personally can relate to this.  As recently shared earlier this week (FB), those whom God regards "the low estate” (Luke 1: 48) may be those experiencing that they feel soooo low that they may think they will never climb the ladder of faith.  Low valleys were as steep as thousands of feet.  Imagine being that low, one may think they may never get up and out of their situation.  But God is able!!!  Now is the time to look [up] to the hills from where your help comes from.  Just how does one do this?  In Sunday school, by the inspiration of God, I shared that Mary also had a personal relationship with God, she acknowledged that He is mighty, holy, and merciful.  With such a relationship with her Creator, we can be reminded that God is still showing forth His strength, scattering the proud and mockers [in our life] and is still filling the hungry hearts with good things (Luke 1: 46-55).
December 25 is not only to be remembered of our Lord Jesus Christ birth, but the deeds He has done and currently is doing.  What has He done for you in 2011?  What is He currently doing for you?  Think about it as you all may eat some of the left over food later this week.  When things settle and we get back to normalcy this busy holiday season; I Chaplain Donald L. Perry encourage you to spend time in your own secret closet and pray to God for strength.  We all will need it when we least expect the unexpected.  As I also personally grieve from the loss of my dad (Dec 26, 2006), the loss of my two daughters (Dec 1990, July 2000) and recent loss of my mother (Dec 8, 2011) and other losses in life; I share my testimony to the masses and all my FB Friends as a minister of the Gospel that Jesus is Lord.  He is a God who is able to be your strength (Psalms 84: 5), we are surrounded continually by His favor (Psalms 5: 12), stand in His grace (Romans 5: 2) and certainly He has not forgotten us who believe in Him (Hebrews 6: 9, 10).  Christmas Day is giving as we all can agree to, but let us not let this “Magnificat” song by Mary (Luke 1: 46-55) slip through our hearts.  No she is not to be worshipped nor was she our so called “co-redeemer”, but think about the words she sang to glorify God.  Let us forever give the gift of love to others.  PLEASE preachers do teach your congregants to share gifts of love and share the beautiful mysteries and promises of Christ (Ephesians 3: 6) If we are rejected; so be it!  Just shake the dust off from your feet and move on.  My wife and I love you all with the love of Christ and trust the aforementioned Scriptures will encourage and inspire you to serve the risen Savior, Jesus Christ.  Please don’t wait till New Years day or Easter.  Do your own soul a BIG FAVOR:  let your soul magnify Him and rejoice in Him.  For now with more food to eat with family out here in Texas (my stomach is jiggling when I walk), do pray my stedfastness in the Lord.  Lord have mercy, folk here in Texas love to eat!  CAN ALL THE CHURCH FOLK SAY AMEN!
If I could be of any further assistance to edify your congregation; please don't hesitate to contact me.  Thank you
