THIS IS PREACHING AT ITS BEST! I AGREE WITH VERONICA SMITH WHEN YOU HAVE FED THE PEOPLE THE MEAL IT'S NOTHING WRONG IN HAVING DESSERT AND IF HOOPING IS DESSERT THEN HE DESERVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT! PASTOR WILLIAMS, BISHOP PATTERSON IS FROM THE OLD SCHOOL WHERE THEY BELIEVE IN PREACHING THE WORD WITH EXCITEMENT! I WAS INSPIRED AND ONLY WISH I WAS IN ATTENDANCE! I ONLY CAN IMAGINE THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THAT PLACE. THIS WILL REMAIN AS ONE OF MY FAVORITES

Pastor William is a excellent preacher/teacher. To many of our people are frowning own his style that they call hooping. What they do not understand Pastor William, Bishop Pattersons and many other great preaches, gives meat and then celebrated. There are preachers who only see the celebration that comes at the end of their message and try to duplicate that style without the substance that stimulate celebration. It like eating a good meal and topping it off with a good dessert. I love it from a true man or woman of God who delivers the Word with power and take it on home with rejoicing. It is true that if the message has no Word then you just have hoop and no word. I never seen Pastor Williams or Bishop Patterson, leave out the word. A true hooper is an individual who preaches the word under the anointing and has a personal conviction while celebrating the goodness of God. Just watching this video had me rejoicing.

This is one for the archives. One excellent example of the exceptional uniqueness of classic black preaching. This also sets a standard for contemporary preaching. Dr. Williams is not only style, but substance. We are ofen moved by style and sound, but the anointing is evidenced by substance. God bless you and thank you for this standard Rev. Dr. Jasper Williams, Jr. Live positive!

What is hoopology.... Who wants to see people hoop when the word of God needs to go forth.. I don't mean no harm awl.. But to many preachers today are hoopin with three pionts and no to some understanding of the word being taught.. I necessarily don't have to have a hooper, although I do.. But I also have a Pastor, preacher, Teacher..who rightly divides the word of truth and not walk in error with the hoopin(smile). Convictionis good for the soul if you know what I mean.. GOTTA GET IT RIGHT.
And by the way.. My condolence to the friends and family to this young man who's gone home to be with his father.. God Bless.
