A Little Boy with a Teardrop Face

There is a place of honor
There is a place of grace
It is locked within the mysteries of
The little boy with a teardrop face

I had this dream* the other night and as dreams do, I was taken to another time and another place;
The “rest” where dreams are not dreams but a Holy Ghost experience and a Holy Spirit embrace.
I stood quietly in the spirit, left seeking its meaning, its purpose
Pondering its reason and the spiritual rhyme
Was this a dream or was it a vision
Prodding and Pushing for Revelation
And why in this season
Was it in God‘s timing
that it would be during Christmas time?

To God all honors are given
Thru God we occupy a new grace
All I know there is purposed meaning
And it is woven within the mystery,
a captivating remembrance
Of
“A little boy with a teardrop face”

His dusky skin had a glow from the old world
And his face held upon it a prophet’s tear
And though he looked only about ten
His wisdom of hurt shone beyond his 10 years

As I stood looking at him
I cried silently “Lord what do I say to this child?”
And the Lord spoke and my spirit man began to smile

“Tell him I will never leave him
Tell him I will always be his friend
Tell him if he believes and obeys me
NOTHING
can destroy what I have placed in him.”

“Tell him I am closer than a brother
Tell him my love has no end
Tell him I am seated on the throne of mercy
I am his Alpha, his beginning
I am his Omega, his end “

As I sat there listening I realized
The little boy, was also you and me
We are the child the Lord wants to set free

“Tell him why Jesus was birthed to die
Tell him self-condemnation is a trick of fear
Tell him that I AM the God of Grateful and Joyful Tears”

“Tell him I am coming back
That the finishing has begun
Tell him that through my son Jesus Christ you are my sons
Just begin to tell him
And while you are telling him, tell them”

There is much wonder to be conceived for the Holy Spirit’s dream weaving is intricate in His Works.

The Interlude
