Spiritual Warfare - The Truth

If the church ever grasped the full reality of what God is telling us here, there would be no holding us back. Notice that we are told to stand (which is repeated twice in vv. 13-14), to stand our ground. Why didnt God tell us, Go fight? Because we are not fighting for victory, but from victory, and there is all the difference between those two positions. Christ has already won the victory over the devil and his schemes. Our job is to do the mop-up and hold on to the ground that Christ has already captured.
