The True Meaning of Memorial Day ; Scripture and Prayer

“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.

If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

"This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lays down his life for his friends”.

O Father God on this Memorial Day I pray and declare by Your power; You are helping and causing our soldiers to be bold, dauntless, fearless, confident, intrepid , valiant, steadfast, faithful, true , and loyal for Your Name’s sake. Protect them, O Great and Merciful God. I ask that they be covered by Your Grace and Love. I ask that Your Love and grace abide in them: flow and be administered to others by Your Spirit in them, to manifest Your Presence in and through them. I ask that our soldiers; someone’s father, mother, husband, wife, daughter, son, granddaughter and grandson, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, cousin, love one, neighbor and friend returns home with a clear, sharp, and healthy mind and body in You. I ask You to Release Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, with long suffering , and self-control to flow over and in throughout their lives. I release all things into Your hands and commit unto You, trusting You according to Your word John 14:13-17, in Jesus Name I pray. Amen
