Thesis Statement: Our every step is the subject of divine decree!
In the previous Psalm David wrote of the evildoers philosophy of life, while in this Psalm writes of his philosophy of life while living in the midst of evildoers
This psalm is a sermon, and an excellent useful sermon it is, calculated not (as most of the psalms) for our devotion, but for our conversation; there is nothing in it of prayer or praise, but it is all instruction; it is "a teaching psalm;" it deals with the advancement of the wicked and the disgrace of the righteous, a solution to the difficulties that arise, and is an exhortation to conduct ourselves as becomes a believer under difficult times.
