Constant Praise & Worship Brings Down Victories & Blessings

Hebrews 13:15} Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of the lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.

We always have something to praise God for. For me, the most thankful praise I can give Him is for my salvation. We should all be very grateful and thankful to God for that. Imagine where we would end up if not for Jesus saving us. That is something we really need to meditate on. The moment we wake up in the morning we should thank God for waking us up. Praise you Lord that I'm still here and available to praise You and do Your work. Amen! Too often we take life for granted. We forget how short life can be, it is but a vapor. It's ok to enjoy the things God has put on this earth for us to enjoy, but too often we get into enjoyment of the world more than we do enjoy our time with God or to obey what He has commanded us to do. And then, on the other hand, we have some that are so involved in becoming legalistic and religious that there is no healthy balance in their lives. My point? They have become so religious that they are no earthly good to God. People are watching us. They are seeing if we are just hearers or doers of the word. Are we truly being real and transparent to people? Or are we going around wearing religious masks? I've learned one thing in my life is that the Holy Spirit is not pushy. It amazes me how many people God has allowed me to lead to Jesus just through my walk.

People have seen me go through many hardships yet I've always praised God and kept the joy of the Lord going. I've had people ask me: What do you have? I've seen you go through hell and back and still you have a smile on your face. That opens a door! That's when I share with them my relationship with Jesus and the trust I have in Him. Notice I said that I share my relationship, not my religion. I don't preach at them, I don't force them to say the salvation prayer, I don't force Scripture down their throats, I'm not pushy. Religious people are pushy and controlling. We don't need to control anyone, that's the Holy Spirit's job. Our job is to love them into the Kingdom. Many, these days, have heard my testimony and they know I'm real. I will never speak about things that I don't do myself. My biggest prayer these days is for God to make me more of a true example of Jesus, for people to see, feel, hear and experience Jesus through me. I didn't know the Lord was going to go this way, but I'm being obedient to the leading of His Spirit.

Another prayer we should all be praying is for God to help us be true worshippers and praisers. That's what He created us for!Too often today many Christians need to be pumped up to praise God. How I pray God wakes us up from our slumber and our complacency. We need to be very thankful and grateful for the blessings God has given us. We should be so full of joy to the fact that God has saved us that we should be bursting at the seams with shouts of praise and worship. Our praise and worship is the most powerful weapon that we have against our enemy. When the praises go up, the blessings come down. That is why Satan is trying to stop our determination to praise and trust God. He is sneaky and loves to disrupt the unity in the Body of Christ. Sad to say, he is already succeeding with many Christians....some don't go to church anymore, some don't take time in their day to be with God, some don't even pick up the bible to read God's word. They are not glorifying God with these actions, they are glorifying their flesh and Satan.

If we truly desire for revival to come, if we truly want to experience Jesus, then let's give it our all every single day and make an effort to praise the Lord. Make sure that your heart is in it also. We don't want to give God lip service. When we begin to practice this it will become a way of life. Then we will see God's glory come down not only in our lives and situations but upon the world. It has to begin with the Body of Christ. There is so much that the Lord wants to do for us, but He desires to deal with His people first and get us back on track. It's time to come up to a higher place with Him and in Him. It's time to shake off the complacency, laziness and disobedience that has hit the body of Christ and come together with great determination to lift up God higher than anything in this world or in our lives. Wake up church! It's time to make an impact on this world. I thank God for my church. We are going through a ''boot camp'' in our Sunday School classes. I know it's the Holy Spirit leading this and it is causing the flames within us to ignite. While we are on this earth we are all in a boot camp, we are being trained by God Himself. Let's begin today to put our own selfish ways aside and allow God's will in every area of our lives. God bless you, I love you, but Jesus loves you so much more than I ever could. Remember, push through and determine to praise and worship God in the bad as well as the good. Our attitudes will determine how soon our breakthroughs come. We will be tested!
