Romans 4:17...even God, who quickens the dead, and calls those things which be not as though they were. Believe the eternal verities, the Word. Just as you can deny an experience out of existence, so you can affirm an experience into existence. Life (God) always works in accord with law (the Word). It is Itelligence plus law. It is law plus conscious volition. It is law

plus will and choice. Understand, within the mystery of life, the universe operates according to laws as real as the law of gravity. Sense-experience, sense-certainty (Hegelian) is the uncritical apprehension of objects, or an empty and abstract form of knowledge. But, woven into the fabric of existence, reflecting the primal intelligence of the universe, these laws of Spirit direct the mechanics of the universe. We are told to affirm, to declare this truth, in the face of all apparent opposition; to claim abundance in the midst of poverty; to affirm health in the midst of sickness--Lord I know you a healer--, to decree joy in the midst of sorrow, and to announce the kingdom of God here and now. Small wonder, we are told to be still and know that all things are possible to God. What is it we are going to affirm? We are going to affirm that God is good; we are going to do this even though everything we see and touch seems to contradict the Allness of Life (God). We are going to be still and know that our being is derived from pure Spirit; that God Himself is our host and that we are not strangers on the shores of time, but divine beings, guests of the kingdom of Good. Saints, be mindful that an affirmation is not an affirmation unless it is inwardly believed and received (Mark 11:22-24). We should not only hitch the wagon of our hope to a star, we should likewise identify our mind with the Infinite. God cannot fail and we shall cease failing when we identify ourselves with this Supreme Source. Praise Him!
