Why I Love Jesus

My mother used to say, "If you really love someone you should be able to shout from, the roof tops to declare your love for them. She would go on to say that love is something you should never be ashamed of and a person in love should be able to express it openly. My mom would always say that loving someone from the heart, is special and shouldn't be played with, because it concerns the heart. I think that is why when someone breaks our hearts, it hurts so much and takes a lot out of those who have been hurt. Being in love sometimes can be very stressful because of the effort that is put into the relationship. What makes it so stressful is when you have someone in your life that has feelings for you, but they do not equal your own. I know if you ever been in love before you have heard this statement, "I love you, but I am not in love with you". Now to me this sounds confusing and like my mother used to say," Either you do or you don't". Which is it? What makes this especially hard is when the person you are in love with have no regards for your feeling, then act cold or uncaring.Some people that you fall in love with latter lose their feeling for you, if you happen to be sick, unemployed or if you happen to lose confidence in yourself. They abandon you when trouble arrives and run with fear. Even those who get married in today's time, leave or abandon their mates. They ignore those vows for better or worse, richer or poor, through death do us part. In today's world marriage is only a peace of paper. In today's world people can turn their feelings off and on, just like a light switch. One minute they love you and the next they hate you. One minute you are a very beautiful woman, handsome man and the next you are unworthy. One has to ask themselves this question, is this really love? Or do people really know what love is? It seems in today's world some people say the world without knowing the real feeling. Love is not being with someone because of the position they have or the money they make. Being in love is not loving a persons outsides, but loving their insides. The world is so confusing and it would make any God fearing person afraid to give their hearts to someone out of fear of being hurt. That is why I love Jesus! Because Gods son loves me even when I am down, depressed , sick or afraid. He loves me despite myself and he will never abandon me. Gods love is real and when you need him he will always be there for you. God will never stop listening to you and when you need a friend he will always be there to guide you.When people ask me why am I so passionate when I talk about Jesus. Well its because in my darkest hours, he was the only one I could count on. When my family stop loving me and when my ex-wife abandon me, he was there. God and his son Jesus, made and created a new man. Now more loving, more confident, fearless and pure of heart.Through Gods love for me I have become a new creature that's God fearing, loving, a good father and when he gives her to me a good husband. God can do the same for you. So stop loving man and start loving Jesus and your life will never be the same again.
