Are We Dead Bones In The Body Of Christ?
Ezekiel 37:21-23} Then say to them, Thus says the Lord God; Behold I will take the children of Israel from among the nations to which they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bringthem into their own land. And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel and one King shall be King over the mall,they shall be no longer two nations , neither be divided into two kingdoms anymore. They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols and their detestable things or with any of their transgressions, but I will save them all out of their dwelling places and from all their backslidings in which they have sinned and I will cleanse them. So shall they be My people , and I will be their God.
God spoke to my heart on today's Scripture and said this: I am not speaking just to Israel as a nation today. I am speaking to My children, the children of God. I am about doing a great work! I am gathering back those who have been scattered by the devil's lies. I am bringing back together the children of God to be One Body, One Family under their God. I am breathing life to those who have walked away and been backslidden. I will make them one in true unity, holiness and power! No more will they be divided into serving this world or serving their God. They will be steadfast and faithful to their walk with Me. I will fill them with my glory and power to overtake the evil of this world. I tell you today that I am calling you to a greater walk than you have ever had. Will you continue to be stiff necked and rebellious and desire your own way? Or will you humble and surrender yourselves to Me that I may use you in ways you cannot even imagine. I will make you powerful instruments of praise and worship. So much so that your praise and worship will shake the very core of hell itself. Your praise and worship will be from the core of your heart and it will bring healing, deliverance and freedom as never before experienced. Are you willing to put down all your idols and come to Me? I desire a serious, faithful and tenacious people. And the Spirit says Come!
I would really suggest to you that you read the Scriptures before this one where the Word talks about dead bones. Sadly to say we have many dead bones among Christians today. God is on the move and many are missing it. God really put today's Scriptures on my heart that really goes hand in hand with the dead bones Scriptures. What are dead bones? People who have backslidden and no longer walking with the Lord by disobeing what His Word has commanded us to do. What happens when bones are broken or disconnected? The rest of the body suffers. This is what is happening in the Body of Christ today. We have many disconnected bones. God desires His church to be whole, healed, delivered and set free. He is preparing His people for the next great move of His Spirit. He desires to use each one of us as He did in the days of the apostles. Imagine healing someone by your mere shadow!! The disciples did this and we have the same power within us.
Notice too that backsliding is a sin as it is written in today's Scripture. We are in a time where God is speaking through His people, through circumstances and through His word. Yet many have ears and do not hear and they have eyes and do not see. Their spiritual discernment has become clouded because they are living more in the world and in the flesh than working for God's Kingdom and operating in the Spirit. They have become lovers of self rather than lovers of God. Their trust is more in the things of this world than in their God. Satan is very good at getting people discouraged through fear, worry and anxiety. These are his greatest weapon. Why do we allow this into our lives when we should be taking authority over them? If we are not taking in our spiritual food (God's Word) on a daily basis then we will not grow strong or powerful.
It's time to prophesy over our circumstances! If we have a big mess in our lives, mountains which we think we cannot overcome, it's time to stop talking about the mountains and speak to them. You can say in the name of Jesus Christ, I command this mountain of sickness to be removed. In the name of Jesus Christ I command this mountain of debt to be removed. And don't give up because you don't see the manifestation right away. Keep standing until you get what you are speaking because God's word never goes out void and it will come to pass. But too there is something we need to do other than this. We need to be connected to the Body of Christ and to be in right standing with God. We need to be in His will and not our own. If we are backslidden in any area we are in sin and we cannot expect our prayers to be heard.
What have you been speaking to the dead bones in your life? Are you speaking the Life of God's Word? Or are you speaking lies the enemy has placed in your head. All of us should be refusing to receive anything that is not of our Heavenly Father. It's time to take authority over those things which should not be operating in our lives. Like what you may ask? Like backsliding, disobedience, gossipping, lying...anything that does not glorify God. Remember, we can bless or curse with our tongues. Our words have power and it's time we recognize that fact. God is looking for a faithful and dedicated people. He desires to empower us as never before. We have to stop speaking negatives like: I will never get well, I will fail at everything I try, I will always be in debt......things as this does not line up with God's Word.
We do not need to talk about how we feel or what we think. Speak the promises of God and stand on them until they come to pass. Do not look at your life as to what you do not have. Open your mouth and speak what God has promised through His Word. Once we learn to walk in that kind of boldness and trust we will have the devil on the run. There is absolutely nothing he can do against God's Word. That is why Jesus used it to win every battle in the wilderness. The victory is already ours and it's time we claim it. I would really urge you to repent of any disobedience, any backsliding, and get connected back to God and to the Body of Christ. It's time to speak life to our dead bones. Don't just be hearers of the word, be doers! Where we take in no spiritual food we cannot expect any spiritual growth! God is bringing back the backsliders and getting the bones reconnected so there can be spiritual life again.
Many Christians today are defiling themselves with sorcery, reading horoscopes, tarrot cards and demonic books like Harry Potter. Many are defiling themselves with the love of materials and money and have become hoarders and not givers. There are way too many idols to speak of so I pray we go before the Lord and ask Him to not only reveal the idols of our lives but to remove them. Idols are overtaking our land and our lives. It's up to you. The ball is in your court. Will it be business as usual? Or will you determine to follow Jesus. What we sow we will reap! It's time to come out of our graves of complacency, take off the grave clothes if disunity, put on the clothes of glory and enter into all the glorious things God has for us. God bless you. I love you, but Jesus loves you so much more than I ever could.
