I THANK GOD FOR YESTERDAY
Yes, Yesterday was an end of a year and it wasn't that anything accidental happened that I'm thanking God for. But when I look back at all what God has taught me in the year 2008. It is the ability to tell God how greatful I am, to live pass the day before today. Sometimes we get so focused so much on what we need to accomplish in the new day, that we forget to give God the glory for whatever may have happened yesterday. No matter what the situation that might have happened to you yesterday, it could have been worse, and if it wasn't for the Lord on your side! you would not have seen this morning.
Now everyday, even when I have nothing physical to thank the almighty for, I have made it my daily praise, to always thank God for yesterday. There a lot of battles being won over your life that you do not even realized. You slept, snoring while the occultist, the witches and wizards were busy making plans about your demised. The devil ain't sleeping because of you. He is mad that you have chosen to live your life for God. He goes around mad like a roaring lion looking for a way you will get devoured by his human demons. His plan is to kill and not only kill, but tear you apart in pieces, destroyed and render useless. But yet, the Lord put his protection over you, he made you the apple of his eyes and no one dare get in His face to even take a look or dare to touch you. Maybe at your church, your place of work, within a social gathering or within family members, who are cooking lies up against just to bring you down or bring you shame but the Lord did not let their lies comes to fruition. Like my Mother will say, "God is a King who scatters the enemies where they were busy cooking up lies". The night prayer is not enough to give God the glory for keeping you alive for the day. When the light of a new day comes, you ought to get up, smile and tell the devil he has failed again, because the Lord has kept you alive, to live passed yesterday.
God I don't know how you did it, I'm not even sure if I deserve it, but one way or the other, you have kept me alive again, to see another glorious day and you grant me the grace to live pass yesterday!
Even when you have nothing to praise God for in the morning, JUST THANK HIM FOR YESTERDAY!

I agree and i never thought about yesterday until today and i will do that thanking him for bringing me through yesterday alive and well. thanks my brother for the passion you showed in simple things we sometimes take for granite.
