God so loved the word that he gave his only son. There is no better example of unconditional love than that, when you think about it, sacrificing your own son or daughter would be a very hard thing to do and we are humans. As humans we put conditions on our love and most of us expect something in return when it comes to love. Both men and women have the tendency to expect something in return when it comes to love. But Gods love is unconditional and he proves that by sending his only son as a sacrifice for our future and past sins. Christ was born in a barn in Bethlehem and latter sacrificed himself on a cross, then three days latter he was raised from the dead. God was angry when his son Jesus was nailed to the cross, but his love for us over came his anger. He did what he felt was needed to free man from its own self inflicted curse by sacrificing his only son.( Romans 8:2-3 Because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from
the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering.) By looking at this verse we see the reasoning God had by doing this for the world he and his son created. God's love is unconditional, he loves us for who we are and not for what we can do for him. He ask us for nothing in return, he only wants us to acknowledge him and his son. To confess our sins and to believe that he sent his only son Jesus as a sacrifice for our sins. If we can confess to him and believe that Jesus died, bled and the was raised from the dead, then we are on our way to becoming saved.
On this Easter Sunday, we should all question ourselves. We should ask ourselves what type of love do we possess? We should ask ourselves, does our love come with conditions? Do we put a price on our love? Can we be as forgiving as our Father in Heaven? Can we love unconditional like God and Jesus loves us? If we answer no to any of these questions, as Christan's and as people we should pray, then ask God for the strength to love as he does. Because that's the only way our marriages, our family's and our friendship's will last. Love is suppose to be unconditional and also very forgiving. If our Father in Heaven can sacrifice his only son for our sins, then forgive us for our past and future sins, then we should be able to do the same with our husbands, wives, children, friends and family's. We all should stop putting conditions on our love and stop expecting something in return for our love. Because real love is unconditional and there is no better love ,than the love of our Father in Heaven and his son Jesus Christ possess for us.

Have a very blessed Easter,

Luke 3-22

and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: You are my Son whom I love; with you I am well pleased.
