Have you ever notice that we love to follow individuals who take a stand on issues close to our heart? People love leaders that stand for something. I know we have all heard the quote “If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything". As believers in Christ we should stand firm on Godly truth found in the Word of God.

Here is a list of some simple steps that can keep us standing even when times are hard:

1. Seek God daily. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matt. 6:33)

seek (s¶k) v. sought (sôt), seek•ing, seeks. --tr. 1. To try to locate or discover; search for. 2. To endeavor to obtain or reach. 3. To go to or toward. 4. To inquire for; request. 5. To try; endeavor. 6. Obsolete. To explore. --intr. To make a search or an investigation

The majority of those received healing from Jesus are those who sought Him out, some effort on their part took place. Heb. 11:6 clearly informs us "that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."
Take time get in the Word of God daily even if it is only a couple of minutes.

2. Trust God. Believe the promises of God are yours. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; (Prov. 3:5).

3. Answers always are in Him (Word). "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." (Jer. 33:3)

There was an old song with a lyric "operator give me long distance I want Jesus on the line."
God always give instructions to follow. Lift up your bible – your holding the most important book on earth. Basic Instructions Before Leave Earth Manual.

4. Remember that you are complete in Him. Colossian 2:10 states "And you are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power." Wow, how awesome is it to know you are in Him, our position in heaven through Christ Jesus out ranks any force that comes against us.

5. Be God's Deliverer. Revelation 12:11 John let us know that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) and by the word of our testimony. Our testimony in Christ allows us opportunities to interact in others through our own experiences, bringing them out through the testimony of Jesus Christ.

A great example of this is David. David was at the cave Adullam (1 Sam 22:1-2) David was seeking asylum from his own troubles, while in a place of safety his love ones, the distressed, every one that was in financial need, and those who were not satisfied with life sought out David. The bible states he became a captain over them. We have one that is Greater than David, He is the Captain on our Salvation, and He has already according to His divine power given us all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Pet. 1:3).

Saints stand strong through your tough times and God will use your difficult situation to Glorify Himself thereby causing people to see His mercy, love and power working through you and in you. Paul said to the Corinthians "the God of all comfort, Who comforts us in all our tribulation." (2 Cor. 1:3b,4a)

STAND STRONG on His Word!! Hebrews 10:23 states "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for He is faithful that promised".

STAND STRONG IN THE LORD

God Bless!!!!
