MOTHER’S DAY GREETINGS

Eve was the first mother to give birth
She got motherhood started on this Earth
Because of a sin she had done
her first born child was a son

Moses’ mother loved him so, but to
save his life, she had to let him go
She placed her baby on the Nile
and gave Pharaoh’s daughter a big smile

Sarah who was old and through
An angel told her she was due
She gave birth to Isaac, Abraham’s son
and became Mother of nations, God’s will be done

The blessed mother of them all
gave birth to Jesus as you recall
Conceived as a virgin, by the Holy Ghost
To bring forth Christ, our Lord of Host

To all mothers I’m honoring you
God bless you all, and now I’m through
