APOSTLE ANTHONY YARDE TEACHING ON

DEVELOPING an APOSTIOLIC MINDSETS that has the CAPACITY to be INTECTIOUS

Jesus gives us the key to changing old mindsets into new ones. He commanded:

“The Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15).

The word repent means: “to change one's view and adopt another view.” The change is derived from a recognition that the earlier view was foolish, improper or evil, and hence, there arises the sense “to regret”, “to feel remorse”. The “regret” and “remorse” expresses dissatisfaction with thoughts cherished, plans followed, acts performed, behaviour demonstrated. The change of mind will influence and shape thoughts, feelings, actions and behaviour.

It is impossible to live and operate in an old system and expect to soar in a new dimension, unless we respond to God’s change in us.

Our mindsets shape our emotions, actions and behaviours in any given situation.
Mindsets can be created, changed and shifted at any given stage in our life in order to instruct, guide and organize our personal and corporate life.

The greatest threat to the apostolic mindset and lifestyle is the spirit of religion who is an agent of Satan assigned to prevent real change.
-using religious beliefs
-using devices
-using activities

Matt 16:6 tells us “beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees”

-leaven – the spirit that has the capacity to infect anything

Repentance is the first mindset Jesus introduced to transform one’s mentality. Mark 1:15

Jesus gave us one of the most incredible, divine principles to successfully reset one’s thinking. Repentance is the most effective and successful way to change the prevailing attitude of the mind.

Repentance means to change one’s mind, to adopt another view and that change of mind alters your mood, your feeling, your action and behaviour.

Repentance means to change one’s mind, to adopt another view and that change of mind alters your mood, your feeling, your action and behaviour.

To develop an apostolic mindset one has to adopt an eternal mindset. 2 Cor 4:16-18; Col 3: 1-4

The basis of apostolic mindset is a true perception and grasping of the things that are eternal, not in anticipation of future enjoyment, but of a present reality and application.

This is what makes the church different.
-The absence of an eternal mindset makes us mundane, ordinary and institutional.
-The world wants to relegate eternity to the after life
- eternity is qualitative life NOW – Hebrews 6:4, 5

Our mentality must be shifted into a Kingdom mentality so we can comprehend the fullness of God's purpose. We must be careful in our definition and perception of God, His word and revelation.Lest we make the word and the move of God vain and call it profane due to our narrow way of thinking and reasoning.
