Trusting the Lord in Difficult Times Part 2

During these times of economic difficulty when people are losing their jobs, their homes, their cars etc., it is so important that we still keep our focus on the Lord. He has promised to be our strength, our shield , the horn of our salvation, our stronghold and our refuge. He is our Savior and will save us from our enemies. Who are our enemies, sometimes they are US. We can be our own worst enemy by not looking at the Lord but keeping our focus on our situation, circumstances, what the news is saying and what things look like. The Word of God says in Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Also, Psalms 118:8 says, It is better to trust in the Lord, than to put confidence in Man. Seek the Lord today for what you have need of because He has promised to supply all of your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. He does answer our prayers, maybe just not in the way we thank He should and not how we are looking for Him to. Take God out of the Box and let Him be God and bless us the way He desires to.
