Bless You.. What a awesome feat you are about to embark upon. It is no easy thing to become the person responsible for the lives of other people! It's a tremendous responsibility because people's lives, decisions, destinites, and souls are all at stake. Dallas is a ripe area....plenty of souls there that have never been saved, that's for sure.

Are you starting a church under the umbrella of the FGB Fellowship?
I am prayfully considering FGB Fellowship to oversee the minstry. Please pray for us about this decision.
Will do...I will certainly be in prayer with you. Hope you will get a chance to talk extensively with your pastor about this. I am sure he or she has the council you need. Here are just a few things to consider:

1) why does Dallas need another church?
2) what is your mission?
3) who is your target and do you have a strategic plan for evangelism (unless you intend to swap other pastors' sheep--lol)
4) what area of the city are you being called to and why?
5) have you saved a signficant amount of money to get started, pay rent or lease, ministry expenses, evanglism and outreach expenses, accounting services (who know IRS rules for churches and money) etc?
6) have you looked at the US sensus for that area to get the statistics you need so your outreach and ministry will be relevant to the community to which you will be sent?

This is at least something to work on while you are waiting on the Lord. Most people have no clue about most of these items--and they start a church with no direction, vision, money, or support from mature submitted believers who have been called alongside to help dig the church out. Hope some of this helps guide you along the way.

Thank you so much and I appreciate your input. I applaud you for your labor of love in the Lord. It's time for the christians to come out of the closest. No night church in Dallas, this is a trend that has to stop. If it's not a concert or some musical, there's no night chuch. The area is the world, but the immdiate area will be the southern sector of Dallas (Oak Cliff). I know the journey will be tedious, but God is faithful.

Be blessed and I like your responses while heeding to them.
