Is The Trinity Biblical?

The Trinity is a basic doctrine of orthodox Christianity. Yet the word "Trinity" is not found anywhere in the Bible. Is the doctrine of the Trinity really biblical?
The doctrine of the Trinity says that there is one All Mighty One (God) who exists eternally as three distinct persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I can assure you that the elements of this doctrine are all taken directly from the Bible.
The first plank of the Trinitarian platform is that there is only one All Mighty One (God). The Bible could not be more explicit on this point, which it states explicitly about two dozen times. In Isaiah 44:8 Yahweh (The LORD) says that even He does not know of any other (mighty ones)gods!
Yahshua (Jesus) often spoke of the All Mighty One (God) as His Father, and the apostles frequently spoke of "the Almighty One (God) the Father." But the New Testament also insists that Yahshua (Jesus) is The Almighty One (God). For example, Thomas acknowledged Yahshua (Jesus) as, "My Lord(master) and my Almighty One (God)" (John 20:28), and both Peter and Paul spoke of Yahshua (Jesus) as "our All Mighty One (God) and Savior" (2 Pet. 1:1; Tit. 2:13). Yet the New Testament also makes the distinction between the Father and the Son as two very different persons. In fact they tell us that they love one another, speak to each other, and seek to glorify each other (e.g., John 17: 1-26).
The Old Testament refers often to the Holy Spirit as The Almighty One (God) at work in the world, without distinction from the Father. But Yahshua (Jesus) in John 14 to 16 explained that this Holy Spirit would be sent by the Father at the Messiah’s (Christ's) request. The Holy Spirit would teach and guide the disciples, not speaking on His own initiative, but speaking on the Messiah’s 9Christ's) behalf and glorifying The messiah (Christ). Thus, the Holy Spirit is revealed by The Messiah (Christ) to be a third person distinct from the Father and distinct from the Son.
In short, the doctrine of the Trinity is completely and totally biblical, and it is essential that all the Followers of the Messiah Yahshua (Christians) give assent to this doctrine.

Uh, Okay are you say that the Trinity is Biblical?
I am saying that we are beings created above all animals. Just the complexity of the Human make up (Mind,Body and soul) Gives insight to 3 in one rationality. Questioning about the Trinity scares people and they run when people mention it! Not me though! If I'm wrong then let me be wrong but I believe in ALL OF GOD! God is the Father (THE FIRST CAUSE OF ALL THAT EXISTS!) He is the way, Jesus is the Son ( WHO IT ALL EXISTS FOR!) He is the truth, The Holy Ghost is the active force (HOW IT ALL CAME TO BE!) He is the life! They are one because they operate in one accord without dispute or disagreement! God was the first to use knowledge to create( HE IS THE UNIVERSAL MIND!), Jesus was the physical sacrifice and paid the ultimate price in flesh(HE IS THE BODY!), The Holy Spirit is the means in which God has manifested all things( HE IS THE SOUL!). In his Image and likes we are a small portion of the bigger picture! We are like cells in the body of Christ, each given a purpose and a function, if a cell dies it is replaced by another one! The Church is called the bride of Christ! A bride is a living organism! It is alive when the Holy Spirit of God is alive in it! So yea, the trinity is biblical.
OK, once you placed it like that, then yea....
The Holy Spirit is the soul? Where did you get that from?
Leviticus 26;11>>>And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my SOUL shall not abhor you." Is this not God talking? Leviticus 26;30>>>"And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my SOUL shall abhor you." Is this not God talking?
Did not the SPIRIT of God MOVE upon the face of the deep? Doesn't movement require ENERGY? Matthew 12;28>>>But if I cast out devils by the SPIRIT of God, then the kingdom of God is come upon you. CASTING OUT is an action! Using the SPIRIT to do it is to use a FORCE to act upon something! Every where the Bible makes mention of the Holy Spirit there is usually an action to do something or a Force acting against something!
This still sounds JW-ish from the angle of the active force part. And that indication of the HOLY SPIRIT being GOD's soul? I honestly don't see it.
I stand corrected OKAY? IS THAT WHAT YOU NEED TO BE OKAY? YOU CAN BE THE ONE IN THE RIGHT OKAY? ALL GLORY TO YOUR BRAIN OKAY? FEEL BETTER? GOD BLESS YOU AND EVERYONE YOUR BRAIN GETS INTO HEAVEN!
Wait, wait, wait, did you say JESUS was "God when necessary"??? What on Earth did that mean??? That sounds exactly like one of the arguments from the Council of Nicea.
Oh I am sorry, I think you are mistaking me with people who argue with people about what they think they know! God has been to me what he has been to me and when I go through what I go through, you were never there! But God was and when I prayed he answered...ALL OF HIM!
To answer your question though, that is exactly what I said! Jesus in flesh, walked, talked, sat, ate, grieved, felt, hurt, loved, prayed and slept...just like we all do! Jesus as God, when it was necessary, blessed, performed miracles, woke the dead, gave sight to the blind, walked on water, rejected the devil, rebuked demons and then some! He didn't do miracles because it was a neat magical trick, he done them when it was necessary to do so!
Such is true, but considering the fact that GOD is extremely detailed and exact with His wording, we must be also especially when speaking of Him. with that said, you said "Jesus as God, when it was necessary". Does this mean that He stepped in and out of being GOD, or were you only referring to His acts?
What is clear is that the Devil is a slanderer and constant accuser and he knows the Bible like the back of his hand.Note to self; "Waste no time arguing with them!" The Gnostics were also people who knew it all! All knowledge and no Love! Why am I angry? When an individual with a broken spirit, broken heart, broken life and broken family comes, will you teach them History or will you direct them to the Love(GOD) of Christ! My desire is to help people through the will of God to deal with now! God is concerned with where we are going, not where we are at! All of that information is beautiful and good to know for the purpose of mental growth, but when it comes to Spiritual growth, Love has to be in and around and a part of the conversation! It has not been.He said test the spirit by the spirit and the spirit has not been the spirit of Love! What can you teach me of true LOVE! When I prayed about how to respond this is what I received from my God! "WHERE IS THE LOVE IN IT ALL?" Will the History of Rome matter to the Man who is beating on his wife because he hates himself?! My sister is laying in an Hospital fighting for her life as Lupus is destroying her from the inside out! Should I talk to her about the Council of Nicea? I should stand corrected on the fact that I have strayed away from the topic of this blog and for that I apologize to the person who posted it! Sometimes, I state things such as God having a "soul" without stating that this is presented in it's anthropomorphic (The attributing of physical and human characteristics to God to apply understanding) usage! For that I apologize! When God makes mention of his "SOUL" (NEPHESH) he is referring to himself in a personal sense. Speaking in first person. God is a "Pnuema" (spirit) and his spirit is Holy! It's not a Spirit referring to another Spirit, they are him! I am aware that there is a distinction between the Nephesh (soul) (God as himself), and the Pnuema (Spirit) (the life-force of the living soul). And Jesus made known in John 4;25,26>>" "The woman saith unto him, I know that the Messiah cometh, Which is called Christ; when he is come, HE will tell us ALL THINGS.26. Jesus saith unto her, I am He." If I sound like a Jehovah Witness, I don't apologize because I am a living witness of the great works of Jehovah! If I sound like a Muslim, I don't apologize because Muslim mean total submission to God, so for me it will be in definition ONLY! If I sound like a Baptist, it is because I AM a Baptist and I do not apologize for it!
That has little to do with my statement. Infact, that has NOTHING to do with my statement. One of the "arguments" of the Council of Nicea was that JESUS was GOD only in Heaven, but ceased being GOD for a time while on Earth.

Your testimony and experience is good and all, but has little to do with the discussion, unless you prescribe to the doctrine of "the GOD of your understanding" stuff (now used in rehabs).
